Meet the team - Johannes Roselius

Johannes was born in Stockholm 1982 and has always loved adventures and to build stuff, with Botanium he can both build stuff and run a business adventure. He studied mechanical engineering and has been working with product development for about 15 years.

He really likes the creative part and to find the best compromise between all aspects you have to consider making a physical product. He has always known that he wanted to run his own company, and when he was young he had a small business selling queue tickets in liquor stores, selling Christmas cards and making his own wine. On his free time he loves to sail, be on a boat with friends, ski or play golf. 

Can you tell something that many do not know about you?
I have sailed across the south pacific ocean.

What motivates and inspires you in your job?
To develop products that is used and enjoyed by our customers. Something that drives me is also to build a company and brand that can be around for generations to come.

How do you think Botanium can make a difference in the world?
I think Botanium can influence urban gardening and in the long run make cities a greener place.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be?
Cristiano Ronaldo (he has the most followers on Instagram, 239 million. Then I would be able to tell about Botanium to as many as possible during that day).

Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
